Indeed culture of one nation is rich, and every other nation could learn and be amazed from it. This is why people all over the world are interested in visiting and taking photographs of how other nations bury their dead.

There are people that enjoy the catacombs of Scotland. Some say that it is haunted, but curiosity will always prevail and will make their feet to go there just to see if it’s true.

Some would prefer to visit the Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah. They say that GA (probably an acronym for a local cemetery there) is absolutely incredible. The statues and the history being told by the tombs is breathtaking.

Swan Point Cemetery in Providence, Rhode Islands is another favorite with graves of Lovecraft, Poe and other prominent individuals.

Cemeteries on Pacific Islands captivate visitors because of its tonga-like decoration, accentuated with upended bottles to scare away dogs.

Some would also say that two of the best cemeteries to visit because they are on the National Historic Register and also National Arboretums are Mt. Auburn in Boston and Wyuka (Lakota Sioux for “Where he lays down”) in Lincoln, Nebraska. Their winding roads and statuary monuments are breath taking in the fall.

Another good one with “Mt. Auburn” in its name is Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It pre-dates Kensal Green Cemetery by 1 year, and is astoundingly beautiful and peaceful. There are artistic, sculptural, and natural wonders and treasures to be found there every time a person visits.

Graceland Cemetery in Chicago is also beautiful. There are some beautiful statues and elaborate stonework marking the wealthiest and well known families that helped to build the city.

Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland should be on everyone’s list. Within its 285 acres of garden landscaping and memorial sculpture and architecture are the remains of President Garfield, Eliott Ness, JD Rockefeller, Jeptha Wade (founder Western Union), Jon Hay (secretary to Lincoln), Henry Sherwin (founder Sherwin-Williams), Charles Brush (inventor of arc lamp), Ernest Ball (songwriter - When Irish Eyes are Smiling), and about 100 more famous intermants.

Taj Mahal should also be in everyone’s list. This mausoleum is considered one of the wonders of the modern world and has a lot of people visiting it every year.
